The Wawa Tree album was released on 13 November, 2024. This special release on the Baamu Records label is the 5th album from Prof Lungu. The strong, hardy, resilient, and faithful theme comes from the wawa tree found in Ghana and other parts of West Africa. The killer album by the don himself, is a theme from the ancestral home of Prof Lungu and the African diaspora and sacred forests (AKYEMPIM EBAN / BAAMU), with Track 7, "A SONG FOR MAMA YAA" being a dedication to Lungu's mom who passed soon after Prof crossed the Atlantic to America decades ago.
